8 Days tour from Casablanca and ending in Marrakech

Day 1 :Casablanca/Rabat (km 93)

Arrival at the Airport , reception. Departure by 4X4 vehicle for free tour of Casablanca the Mohamed V Square, the Hassan II Mosque (exterior), the Cornice with its elegant haunts. Lunch. Continuation to Rabat and free tour of the state capital city: the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Kasbah of the Oudayas, the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel or Riad.

Day 2 : Rabat/Meknes/Volubilis/Fes (km 201)

After breakfast departure for Meknes city tour with local guide in Italian : Bab El Mansour gate, stables, Moulay Ismail Mosque, Agdal basin. Lunch and continuation with visit to the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Continuation to Fes, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 : Fes

Breakfast at hotel. Full day dedicated to sightseeing with local Italian-speaking guide: the Royal Palace (exterior), the Fes El Djedid district, visit to the Mederse of Bou Anania and Sahrij, the Nejjarine Museum, the Karaouine Mosque (exterior), the souks with tanneries and leather dyeing factories. Lunch in an old palace in the Medina.Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 : Fes/ Midelt/ Erfoud/ Merzouga (km 440)

After breakfast, continue to Midelt town at an altitude of 1500 meters. Stop for lunch. In the afternoon, continuation to Merzouga to the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Transfer on the back of a dromedary to the bivouac in the dunes , we will be able to watch the sunset over the dunes. Dinner and overnight stay under an authentic nomadic tent (possibility to spend the night in the hotel in the middle of the dunes ).

Day 5 : Merzouga/ Tinerhir/ Boumalne du Dades/ Ouarzazate (361 km)

Wake up early to contemplate the sunrise over the dunes, breakfast and departure for Tinerhir. Stop to visit the Todra Gorge, impressive clefts in 300-meter-high red rock walls. Lunch. Continuation to Ouarzazate via Boumalne del Dades. Arrival in Ouarzazate, dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 6 : Ouarzazate/ Marrakech (km 203).

Breakfast.Visit to the Kasbah Taourirt 18th-century construction. Continuation with a visit to the famous Unesco World Heritage Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, with its red clay houses. Lunch. After crossing the Tizi n’ Tichka pass at an altitude of 2160 m, arrival in Marrakech. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel or riad.

Day 7 : Marrakech

Breakfast. Full day dedicated to sightseeing with Italian-speaking guide: in the morning Bahia Palace, Dar Si Said museum, Palais Badii. Free lunch. Afternoon visit to the Koutoubia Mosque (exterior) and its garden, visit to the Saadian Tombs and tour of the kasbah to end on the famous Djemaa el Fna square. Dinner and overnight at hotel or dinner with show, optional at extra charge.

Day 8 : Marrakech

Breakfast. At scheduled time transfer to airport for flight back to Italy. NB: Bivouacs are equipped with private tents with mattresses, pillows and blankets; bathrooms are shared. Possibility to extend stay in Marrakech for desired days upon request.
